Description:
The monument is situated on the killing site. The monument is made from granite, there are inscriptions in Yiddish and Lithuanian, and the Star of David above the texts. The text in Yiddish is engraved on the black surface of granite and looks like an attached plaque. The site in front of the monument is fenced with a low decorative metal fence, painted blue.

Translation: On this site, / the Hitlerite murderers and / their local helpers, / in 1941, murdered / Jews of Vashki.

Translation: At this place Hitler’s butchers / and their local helpers / in 1941 murdered the Jews of the town / of Vaškai.

According to the memories of local people, a group of Jews was murdered in this place.
The site was marked in the 1960s by a local forester and the monument was erected in 1992–1993.
On April 20, 2015, the monument was registered in the State Cultural Register of the Republic of Lithuania as a site of national importance (no. 37521).
