A red metal plaque with segmented upper and lower edges and the emblem of the Vilnius municipality is affixed between the ground and upper floors on the exterior of the building at Trakų St. 10, where Stefanija Ladigienė lived from 1942 through 1946.
It bears a Lithuanian inscription.

Translation: Vilnius city municipality. In this house in 1942-1946 lived Stefanija Ladigienė (1901-1967), Lithuanian state builder, member of Ateitis youth organization, pedagogue, political prisoner, the Righteous Among the Nations.
Stefanija Ladigienė, nee Paliulytė (1901, Vabalninkai – 1967, Vilnius) was a journalist, teacher, and a widow of the Lithuanian general Kazios Ladiga. In 1944, she sheltered Irena Veisaitė (1928-2020). In 1946 she was arrested by the Soviets, spent ten years in GULAG camps, and only returned to Lithuania in 1957. She was granted the title of Righteous Among the Nations in 1992.
This memorial plaque was unveiled on July 11, 2021, in presence of Ambassadors from the USA, Germany and Israel.
