Description
This memorial, in the Jewish Cemetery of Middelburg, is made up of three elements. Two rectangular stone slabs, with inscriptions in Dutch and Hebrew and lists of victim names, flank a small menorah. Behind the menorah is a tall stone pillar of the same material that has the years of the holocaust in the Gregorian and Jewish Calendars inscribed on its face and a cap with a Magen David.

die in de Jaren 1940_1945 door de vuand
medogenloos weggerukt en omgebracht werden,
