Description:
The plaque is situated in the main staircase of the Jewish community building, on the right side of the plaque commemorating the victims of the Jadovno camp (see here).
A horizontally aligned plaque is made of dark stone, with a polished metal plaque affixed to it. The latter contains a dedication in Croatian and the list of 100 killed Jewish fighters alongside their birth and death years.

On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Rab Jewish Battalion, which was formed in September 1943 by former prisoners of the Italian camp "Campo concentramento per internati civili Arba" [Arba (the Italian name of Rab) concentration camp for civilian internees] on [the island of] Rab. Zagreb, September 18, 2003.

The plaque commemorates the killed fighters of the Rab Battalion – a unit of the Yugoslav partisans during WWII. It was formed by Jewish survivors of the Rab concentration camp upon their liberation in September 1943.
According to the inscription, the plaque was unveiled on September 18, 2003, the 60th anniversary of the day when the battalion arrived in the Croatian mainland.
