Description:

The black plaque is affixed to the memorial fence and bears identical inscriptions in Ukrainian, Hebrew, and German, and the dates 2016 and תשע"ו.

Нова огорожа єврейського кладовища була встановлена Неприбутковим
товариством зі збереження й захисту єврейських кладовищ в Європі
(ESJF) за сприяння Федеративної Республіки Німеччина в памʼять про
загиблу в роки Шоа єврейську громаду села Астей.

In Hebrew:

הגדר החדשה הוצבה באמצעות ESJF יוזמת בתי הקברות היהודיים באירופה
במימון הממשלה הפדרלית של גרמניה
לזכר הקהילה היהודית של אסטיי שהושמדה במהלך שואת יהודי אירופה

In German: 

Die neue Zaun des jüdischen Friedhofes wurde von der ESJF Gemeinnützigen
Geselschaft zur Erhaltung und zum Schutz jüdischer Friedhöfe in Europa
gefördert von der Bundesrepublik Deutschland, zur Erinnerung an die in den
Holocaust-Jahren vernichtete jüdische Gemeinde des Dorfes Astej

Translation: A new fence of the Jewish cemetery was built by the European Jewish Cemeteries Initiative (ESJF) with funds from the Federal Government of Germany in memory of the Jewish community of Astei (Asztély) destroyed in the years of the Holocaust.

Above the memorial plaque, there is an additional plaque with the logo of the European Union and the European Jewish Cemeteries Initiative (ESJF).  This is a standard plaque of the European Jewish Cemeteries Initiative (ESJF) with identical inscriptions in Ukrainian and English installed after the survey was performed.

Цей єврейський цвинтар був досліджений
Європейською ініціативою зі збереження
єврейських цвинтарів (ESJF) у 2019 році,
в рамках пілотного проєкту
"Захист єврейських цвинтарів Європи" (EAC/S10/2018)
за підтримки Європейського Союзу.
