Jews of Turiisk and the vicinity, who were murdered and buried here
Description
The monument is located on the mass grave and killing site near Turiisk. It is a black stone rectangular stele on a base. The stele bears a Magen David and Hebrew and Ukrainian inscriptions. The base bears Hebrew, English, and Ukrainian inscriptions. The site is surrounded by a metal fence decorated with stars of David.

Translation: Here are buried residents of the Jewish community in Turiisk city and the vicinity, who were murdered by the German Nazis and their local assistants in 1942 – 10 Elul 5702. May their souls be bound in the bundle of life. May God avenge their blood

Translation: Here are buried Jews of Turiisk and surrounding villages, shot by the German fascist occupiers and their accomplices on September 1942. Eternal memory to them...
