The monument is located near Ono Šimaites Street (Ono Šimaites is one of the Righteous Among the Nations who rescued Jews from the Vilnius Ghetto) and near the Missionaries Monastery, which was the site of the final selection on the last day of the annihilation of the Vilnius Ghetto on September 23, 1943.
