A small plaque of white marble is affixed above a side entrance door on the synagogue's southwestern facade. It contains a dedicatory inscription in Croatian.

Koprivničke sinagoge i sjećanja
na brojne žrtve holokausta
ovu spomen ploču podiže
gradsko poglavarstvo grada Koprivnice
Koprivnica, listopad 1996.”
Translation: "On the occasion of the 120th anniversary of the construction of the Koprivnica Synagogue and in memory of numerous victims of the Holocaust, this commemorative plaque was installed by the city administration of the city of Koprivnica. Koprivnica, October 1996."
