380 Jews of the Bogushevichi, killed in 1941.

Description

The monument is an upright stele of an irregular shape, standing on a granite base that, in turn, stands on a paved piece of ground.

In the upper part of the stele, the menorah is depicted.

The monument bears three non-identical inscriptions: in Belarusian, Russian, and Hebrew. At the bottom of the monument, there is an additional inscription identifying the foundations that erected the monument. 

The inscriptions are framed with a long strip on their left side.

Тут у 1941 г. былі зверскі
закатаваны 380 яўрэяў -
мясцовых жыхароў

TranslationTo the victims of Nazism / Here in 1941 were brutally / tortured to death 380 Jews- / local residents.  
 

In English: 

To the everlasting
memory of the
Victims of the Holocaust

Here, in 1941, 380 Jews
from this area were
brutally murdered.

In Hebrew: 

לזכרון קורבנות הנאצים

במקום זה בשנת 1941 נרצחו
באכזריות 380 יהודים - 
תושבי במקום
ת * נ * צ * ב * ה

TranslationIn memory of the Nazi victims. At this site in 1941 were brutally murdered 380 Jews - local residents. May their souls be bound in the bundle of life.
