The synagogue in Sanok
Description:
A small metal plaque is affixed to the façade of the only preserved synagogue building in Sanok. It has Polish and Hebrew inscriptions divided by a small Star of David.

W tym budynku miesciła się do czasów okupacji
synagoga żydowskich mieszkańców Sanoka.
Cudem ocalała ona od zdewastowania
przez hitlerowskich morderców.
Translation: In this building, there was, before the period of occupation, a synagogue of the Jewish inhabitants of Sanok. Miraculously, it survived devastation by Hitlerite murderers.

מחסידי "סדיגורה" ונצל בנס מהרס מידי הרוצחים הגרמניים

Translation: Before the Holocaust, this building was a synagogue of the Jews of Sanok from among Sadigora Hasidim and it was miraculously saved from destruction by the German murderers. This plaque was installed by the Organization of the Jews from Sanok and vicinity in Israel in the year 1991.
