Jewish Holocaust victims from Čavusy (Chausy), killed on October 9, 1941. 

Description:

The monument, commemorating the Jewish Holocaust victims from Čavusy (Chausy), is erected in the local Jewish cemetry where their remains were reburied. It is shaped like a massive upright stele and bears two non-identical inscriptions in Yiddish and Russian. 

The territory of the monument is fenced.

Inscription

In Yiddish:

צום אנדיינקונג פון אייך טייערע
אומגעקומענע פון די דייטישע
פאשיסטישע הענט
וועט אייביג לעבן אין אונזערע הערצער

שנת תש"ב

Translation: The memory of you, the dear / perished at the hands of German fascists / will live forever in our hearts. [In Hebrew:] The year 1942.

In Russian: 

Память о вас дорогие
погибшие 9 октября 1941 г.
От рук немецких фашистов
вечно будет жить в наших сердцах
