The round plate is composed of a hexagonal hexagonal piece, surrounded by six four-sided wedged pieces. the base of each piece is recessed. Painted on the central piece are the four languages of redemption from the Passover Haggadah: "והוצאתי והצלתי וגאלתי ולקחתי" Each piece has a raised dotted border and on each of the wedged pieces a corresponding items of the seder plate: "זרוע,ביצה,מרור,כרפס,חומץ,חרוסת" From top right:Zero'a(shankbone);Bezah(egg);Maror(Bitter herbs); Karpas (greens);Hometz (vinegar);Haroset(mixture symbolizing mortar) :MED : Porcelain:HS : On the back side. The hallmark is an impressed inverted beehive with two solid horizontal strips.
