The work shows a stage design of an interior of a rich man's house. A broad dais mooved a little bit to the left occupies three quarters of the space. It has a form of a large triangular. A large table covered with a light blue cloth is placed diagonally along its left side. Four black chairs the backs of which are visible are standing behind the table. There are three colomns in the corners of the central triangular: two of them on the foreground and the third is in the depth. On the left colomn there hangs a candelabrum with two candles. Two wide windows with semicircular completion are seen in the wall behind the table. The houses of the shtetl painted on the backdrop can be seen through them. In the depth of the room by the side of the remote column there is a richly decorated aron kodesh. To the right there is a door, a small rectangular window, a curtain and a large stair leading to another door on the second floor. The whole space is overlapped in different directions with the arches of different scales resting upon the columns and walls. ##The work is painted in a blue color scale.
