The silver Torah shield is rectangular and terminates with a semi circular arch. A facade is depicted in the centre, supported by two columns. A Torah Ark with two opening doors bearing a Torah scroll is set within the facade. The facade is flanked by a human faced lion and an unicorn tied with a chain.The central part of the arch bears a cartouche composed of two foliate scrolls bearing within the words : "כ"ת" "Torah crown" and is surmounted by a crown. The Torah shield is framed by a band of foliate scrolls and gems. The lower margin consists of an inscription, and reads:
"מלכה פת )בת( אברהמ לפאר צק". "Malka the daughter of Abraham to glorify ??".
Four holes are situated at the shield's margins.
1.The hallmark depicts a cross with rays within a shield. It is the city hallmark of Zolotonosha which was used in 1887.##C.f. Postnikova-Losseva, p. 160, no. 43.
2. The hallmark depicts Cyrillic initial: "P.K" (Lat.) with the date "1880" under a line, framed by a rectangle. It is an unidentified assay's mark.
3. The hallmark depicts the cypher "84" within a rectangle. It is a Russian quality mark that was used in the 18th and 19th ceturies. ##C.f. Postnikova-Losseva, p. 148, no.12.
4. The hallmark depicts the Cyrillic initials: "A.F" (Lat.) which probably indicates an unknown artist who was aktive in Zolotonosh in 1887.##C.f. Postnikova-Losseva, p.160, no. 441
