The green parokhet is made of silk. The parokhet is rectangular and composed of three pieces. A dedicatory inscription, in a medallion decorated with heart motifs, depicts the center of parokhet. A Torah crown appears above the dedicatory inscription with the inscription, reads:
כתר תורה
Translation: Crown of Torah
The dedicatory inscription is embroidered in outline letters and reads:
ז"נ [=זאת נידב] כהרר [=כבוד הרב], רבי / קלמן / גרינוואלד / ע"ז [=עם זוגתו] מ' אסתר תי' [=תחיה] / בשנת ת'ר'ל'ג' לפ"ק
Translation: This was deonated(int.) by the honourable Rabbi, R.(int.)Greenwald##with his wife(int.) Mrs. Esther, may she live(int.) / in the year (5)633=(1873)
