Fol. 252: The page contains the end of Ruth and the beginning of Ecclesiastes. The initial words דברי קהלת (The words of the Preacher) are written in hollow display letters (height c.5 lines), the stems decorated with small rosettes. The massorah magna in the lower margin is written in micrography in the form of two facing eagles pecking at a flower on the right and a hoopoe with wings spread pecking its breast on the left, all framed in a rectangular panel. The panel is divided in the middle and the birds are connected by the tail or wing to each other and to the frame. The drawing is similar to that on fol. 11v, where the two eagles are pecking at a fleur-de-lis.
