The decoration of the western wall was arranged similarly to the eastern wall. The wall was divided into three tiers, each of which was divided into vertical panels with text, symbolical images, and ornamentation.
The upper tier of the semicircular spandrel of the vault was decorated with symbolic images. In the central panel there were two trumpeting heraldic lions flanking a medallion that contained text. Large vases with etroges, lulaves, fruits, and flowers were depicted on the outside of the lions. Two hands with a shofar were depicted above the left vase.
Inscription around the vase on the northern part:
"פרי עץ הדר, כפת תמרים...וערבי נחל (ויקרא כ"ג, מ)"
[And you shall take you on the first day] the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and ... willows of the brook (Lev. 23: 40)]
The signature of the master is inscribed within the medallion in the southern panel of the western wall:
"ותשלם כל המלאכא
אשר עשה אליעז ב' ח' שלומה
בית ויבא שלמה קדשי לפק
נגמור ביום ה' רח דהאישתא
דחודש מרחשון
1733"
A second signature of the master is in the medallion last panel of the northern wall:
"מעשי
ידי אומן בהדרת
קודש להוד ולתפארת
ולכבוד המקום ולכדו(ד)
הביות: אליעזר
זוסמן בן הר"ר שלומה
ש' צ' ז"ל מק"ק ברא(ד)"
