Description

The following description was prepared by William Gross:

An elabortae amulet on parchment, once folded up into a small size and probably put into a small cloth or leather bag. Made for the male child Zalman ben Bila. This amulet is much more elaborate in its design and execution that the norm, using several symbols taken from the book of Raziel ha-Malach. The elegance of the script would indicate that this was written by a professional scribe.
