Description
The following description was prepared by William Gross:
The amulet is made for a person is suffering in a physical way because of evil spirits that have entered her body. The appeals to angels and Holy names is to relieve this and to protect her in general. The image of the hand contains the priestly blessing and signs in the palm that are an attempt by the maker of the amulet to change the lines of her fortune and fate. These signs are seen in the illustration in the book Shefa Tal. The fact that the hand is on the side to the right symbolizes the value of Chesed. The amulet contains angel writing as well.
