Description

This text was prepared by William Gross:

This is a book of Goralot published in a Jewish quarter in Istanbul.
During the 19th century the Armenian printer Arapoğlu Bogos and Sons founded a printing press in the Istanbul suburb of Ortaköy. From 1822-1833 Jews commissioned this press to print more than 18 books. One of them was the present volume, which was brought to press by Chaim b. Yisrael Ashkenazi. Brought to Press by: Chaim ben Yisrael Ashkenazi
