The following description was prepared by William Gross:     

Textile amulets are far and few between. This is a rather large example nicely embroidered. It would appear to be Italian and a paralell example to the silver amulets used to hang above the baby's crib. This type of amulet only has the word Shadai as a text.     Inscription:  Shadai
