This text was prepared by William Gross:

Italian Hebrew printers were often printing very small books such as this one for special purposes or ocassions. This small booklet contains two laments in memory of the destruction of the Temple, to be recited on Tisha be-Av. Because they were an occasional piece to be used once a year and because they were so small and fragile, they did not often survive. Consequently they are very rare.
