Description

The following description was prepared by William Gross:

New Year's greeting in the form of a brass plaque set with a round medallion that reads "Hayyim Moro / Yerushalayim". Hayyim Moro operated a workshop in Jerusalem that supplied medallions and other metal insignia. He produced numerous items for the Israel Defense Force, and, in 1964, a series of 32,000 phone tokens (asimonim) for the Israel Postal Company.

Inscription: Shana Tova.
