Description

This text was prepared by William Gross:

This excellent printing of the Tanach uses red ink in several places. Its major feature, however, is the extremely important etched title page featuring eight Biblical scenes, finely rendered. But the one that demands the most attention is that depicting the Valley of the Dry Bones, for at the top is a rendering of an image of God, the Creator, in the clouds above the scene. To say the least, this is an unusual phenomenon in Hebrew printing.
Clarification of the exact wording of Tanach, focusing on words; letters: both consonants and vowels; pronunciation, alleged missing or extra words and grammatical rules. By Rabbi Yedidia Shlomo of Nortzi, a known Rov in Mantua (1742-1744), Vol. 1: Chamisha Chumshei Torah (Incl 5 Megillos) [4] 136, 141-142 Leaves.Vol. 2: Neviam Rishonim [2] 88 LeavesVol. 3: Neviam Acharonim [2] 98 Leaves Vol. 4: Kesuvim [2] 54; 51, [2] 5 Leaves
The Chasam Sofer writes in one of his Teshuvos "He is the one (Minchas Shai) that all my teachers relied on"
