Description

The following description was prepared by William Gross:

There are numerous small medals cast or struck during the last 150 years for a large variety of reasons. One of those motivations is people's innate need for protection and carrying of an amulet. This one was made in the United States and was either worn on a chain as a necklace or put on a key chain. The protective text is in both Hebrew and English for a good luck medal with the blessing of the Cohanim rendered in English in a circular pattern surrounding an image of the Cohen's hand in blessing on the reverse. The obverse carries the image of the ten commandments held by rampant lions. The inscriptions are in both Hebrew and English.
