A finely written and nicely illustrated book of amulets, including the illustration of both devils and angels. There is an image of Ashmodai, of which very few exist in such manuscripts. There is another manuscript by the same scribe, a Haggadah for Pesach, containing his name. See YM.011.018 for the similar decorative technique employed on both title pages. It is the same hand and consequently from the same period.

In other collections, there are several manuscripts with the same decorative motif on the title page. They may all be from the same scribe. This is one of the most orderly amulet manuscripts from Yemen, a characteristic very present in the YM.011.018 as well.
