An amulet for a male child and his mother with an ornate decorative frame.  Printed on a light red paper, this amulet depicts, in addition to amuletic formulae, lions, crowns, the mage David and a hamsah in the very center, in the form of a realistically depicted hand. This was printed in Casablanca by the Lugassi firm, one of the larger Moroccan Jewish printing firms, whose owners later made aliyah to Israel and continued their work in jerusalem. This printed amulet is in the form typically made in jerusalem. Both the imagery and the text are seen often in jerusalem amulets. The text mentions that the amulet is based on the tradition of the Ba'al Shem tov.
