The following description was prepared by William Gross:
A beautifully written, small manuscript of Kabbalah Ma'asit that begins with a few pages that are almost identical in text to the single book of Kabbalah Ma'asit written by Shalom Shabazi, "Sefer ha-Margalit". But after 10 pages a new section in the same hand begins with an inscription that states that this is "Sefer Ketivot ha-Emunah" by Shimon ben Shalom, the son of Shalom Shabazi. The fine script of this manuscript is enhanced by numerous Kabbalah diagrams. The text is a mixture of theoretical and practical Kabbalah together.
