The following description was prepared by William Gross:
The amulet is apparently written for a man to protect him from the evil eye and other dangers. It is filled with specific formulas against fears and anxieties, against gossip, as well as for restful sleep and for success. In other words a very general protective talisman.
The depiction of the hamsa on this amulet is quite unusual, showing pointed fingers as well as a six pointed star in the palm enclosing a large, thick lettered "Heh". The fingers contain the blessing of the Cohanim. There are also the Raziel diagram for success, the Magen David with one of God's names in the middle, two swords against evil and a depiction of the 3 angels.
