A late edition of the Haggadah in both Hebrew and Dutch for the Sephardic community.
The Levisson Brothers printing house was the continuation of the famous Proops press. The Proops family was involved in the printing of Hebrew books in Amsterdam from the beginning of the 18th century. As the longest lasting such printing house in that city, Proops' publications spanned more than 150 years. The press was sold (by David Proops) to the Levisson's father, Israel Levisson, who operated the press until 1869. In 1869-1870, the Levisson brothers took over, and remained active until 1917.
