Description

The following description was prepared by William Gross:

The form of this Besomim tower is like that of East Europe. The silver mark is most likely of Cracow, the letter "E", which is marked on the flag. Spice towers from Cracow are unusual but the style of the filigree is different from the norm, strengthening the idea that it is indeed from Cracow.

The feet are made of coins, similar to those on the Shabbat salt container from Shmirot in the Gross family collection, 103.001.003. This is a highly unusual item for Shmirot.
