© Center for Jewish Art, Photographer: Radovan, Zev, 1987

The flat rimon is made of silver and consists of a shaft, a body and an apex.

The shaft is cylindrical and tapering and is encircled by a ring in its bottom. It is surmounted by a disk.

The body is rhomboid and bears a smaller rhombus in its center framed by dotted borders. It is decorated with geometric pattern and a cornelian is set in its center.  Two lines of triangles encircle the borders of the body and its corners are set with cornelians. Pierced heart-like units are attached to the upper borders. Ten rings are attached to the lower borders. Chains hang from the rings and carry rhomboid pendants. Two of the chains are made of rhomboid silver plates set with cornelians.

An apex in the shape of a Star^of^David~ is mounted over the body, bearing an inscription:

ציון

Translation: Zion

A dedicatory inscription appears on the back of the body in five horizontal lines. The inscription is engraved in outline letters and reads:

 לנשמתה // שפרה בת רפאל גול // אשת מיכאל אליאסו נ'ע' [=נוחו 'עדן] //נפטרה כ' כסלו תשכ"ה // ת'נ'צ'ב'ה

Translation: For the soul of // Shifrah daughter of Raphael Gol // wife of Michael Eliasof, may he rest in Eden(int.) // passed away in 20th Kislev (5)725=(24.11.1964) // may her soul be bound up in the bond of life(
