The monument is situated on the killing site, the site is not fenced.
The monument is a granite stele. A Yiddish inscription occupies its central part; beneath it, there is a Lithuanian inscription. A star of David is depicted in the upper part of the stele and Menorah is at the bottom.

Translation: Here, in this place, the Nazi murderers and their helpers in 1941 brutally killed 120 Jews - children, women, men. Sacred is the memory of the innocent victims.

70 Linkmenys Jews were murdered here in the middle of July of 1941 (exact date unknown). The corpses were exhumed and buried in Švenčionėliai in 1961.
A monument was probably erected in 1991.
On November 16, 1994, the monument was registered in the State Cultural Register of the Republic of Lithuania of national importance (no. 21214).
