The silver Torah Pointer consists of a bar and a pointer.##The upper arm is cylindrical and spiral and it bears an dedicatory inscription. The upper arm is surmounted by a grooved globular upper joint surmounted by a round knob. Between the upper arm and the forearm there is a plane ring. The forearm is cylindrical and undulating and is decorated by acanthus leaves, lilies, grape clusters and with grooved and plane rings. ##The forearm terminates with a hand with a straight finger which is wearing a ring. The dedicatory inscription on the upper arm is engraved in outline letters filled with grooves and reads: קדש לה' לכנ')כנסת(בהיכל יע!א)יבנה עירנו אמן(נדב')ה( מר!ת אסתר אשת כ')בוד( שמואל ב')ן( דוד מל)?(פאנציירי יצ!ו)ישמרהו צורו וגואלו( ביום ח' עצר)ת( ש' התקי!ח ליצירה !Dedicated to the Lord to the Synagogue in the Heikhal, May He build our city amen(int.),donated by Mrs Esther, wife of the honourable Samuel son of David Ml(?)Panzieri, May His Rock and Redeemer protect him(int.), in Shemini Azeret in the year 5518 = (1758)!
