According to ESJF European Jewish Cemeteries Initiative, the exact period of the cemetery’s establishment is unknown. But since it appears on city plans of 1794, it can be assumed that the cemetery emerged in the late 18th century. It was not marked on maps later. According to locals, the cemetery was demolished during the Soviet period. A forestry establishment, transport department and police office were built over the cemetery site. No tombstones preserved
