Description:
The monument is a large rock standing on a concrete base. A granite plaque with a Lithuanian inscription is attached to its upper part.

The monument was erected on the initiative of the long-time head of Paneriai museum, Algis Karosas, on the 50th anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany in 1995.
An information plaque from 2018 corrects the inscription on the stone, stating that “it is assumed that some 5,000 POWs could have been killed here.”
