The globular Rimon is made of silver and consists of a shaft, a body, and a head.## The cylindrical tapering shaft is decorated with winding strips of foliate and plain patterns. The plain strip bears dedicatory inscriptions. The shaft is surmounted by a spheroid capital decorated with diagonal lines. A floral disk mounted over the capital bears flattened and slit drop-shaped bells. The globular body consists of two parts attached to each other by a hinge and a clasp. The body is composed of stylised sections of openwork leaves. Each leaf bears a flower. Two bands of arches encircle the centre of the body. Each bears a lily.##Chains hang from the centre of the body and carry flattened and slit drop-shaped bells. The head has the shape of a bud. Chains carrying flattened and slit drop-shaped bells encircle its rim.##The dedicatory inscriptions in outline letters read towards the capital. זה הרמונים שהקדיש סימן טוב בן חיים לעילוי נשמת טובה אשתו שנת תערב לפק !These are the Rimonim which were dedicated by Siman Tov son of Hayim for the exaltation of the soul of Tovah his wife, the year of (5)672=(1912) !##Rimon B.: יש)ע( קרוף היו יד)ה(י רצון תנצבה והמשתדלים בה ה יאריך ימיהם בטוב אמן כיר )כן יהי רצון( !($1?) may the Lord protect him and sustain him (int.), may it be His will, may his soul be bound up in the bond of life (int.), and the strivers of it, may the Lord extend their days in good, may it be His will (int.)!
