The wooden Torah^case consists of a body and a crown. The cylindrical body is covered with blue velvet. Silver cartouches, decorated with a vase and flowers, are naileded to the body intercallated in verticall eight rows. Each row bears two and half cartouche. Silver bands, bearing a dedicatory inscription, encircle the upper and lower borders. A lily-shaped crenellation intermittently with red beads encircles the upper border. ##The case has two hook clasps. The inner face of the body is covered with clear cotton stamped with floral pattern in rose, red, black and green colors. There are two round insert holes for the rods at the top of the case. The onion-shaped crown is composed of a main section, a crest and an apex.## The main section is covered with blue velvet an a row of identical silver cartouches. The silver crest is undulating and consists of a conical lower part and a globular upper part. Ten chains with drop-shaped bells are attached to the globular section. The inner face of the crown is covered by a white paper covered by glass.It bears two inscriptions set into a red architectural frame. They are flancked by two floral motives that consist in yellow, green and , red flowers. A yellow paper with a red frame bears an inscription writted in red filled and square letters is set along the internal joint between the body and the crown. !תורה צוה לנו משה מורשה/ קהלת ועקב: משה אמת ות']ורה[! !Moses commanded us a law, even the inheritance of the congregation of Jacob! (Deut. 33:4) !Moses is truth and Torah!. The internal inscriptions are written in black filled letters and divided in six rows. It reads on the right side: !וזאת/ התורה אשר/ שם משה לפני/ בני ושראל: תיק/ זה ספר תורה/ שבו עשתה אותו! !And this is the law wich Moses set before the children of Israel (Deut. 4:44): This Torah case and the Torah scroll in it were made by! The dedicatory inscription on the left reads: !הזקנה/ פרחה בת אברהם/ חיים כלכול מבתי/ לה וגם למנוחת/ בעלה המ']ולא[ ראובן/ משה יצחק משה! !The old woman Farha daughter of Abraham Haim Kalkul, Blessed shall she above women in the tent (Judg. 5:24) her and also for the repose of her husband the Mullah Reuben Moshe Itzhak Moshe! The dedicatory inscriptions on the upper and the lower bands start from the left encircling the body. It is chased in squere outline letters.## The upper inscription reads: !תיק זה וסת')ספר תוורה( שבו עשתה אותו הזקנה פרחה בת ##אברהם חיים בלבול מ )מנשים באהל תברך שופטים ה כד( ה' יאריך ימיה אכיר )אמן כן יהי רצון( תרסח )8665= 8091(. !This Torah case and the Torah scroll in it, were made by the old woman Farha the daughter of Abraham Haim Balbul blessed shall she be above women in the tent.(a part of Judg. 5:24), May the Lord along her live , Amen may it be His will, 5668(=1908)! The lower inscription reads: !על מנת בכל מקום שירצו בעלי הסת')הספר תורה( להוציאו/ ולהניחו למקומות אחרים הרשות בידם ובידם ובכ']וח[! !For anywhere that the owners of the Torah scroll want to take it out and transfer it in other places, the permission is in their hands and their representatives.! !Even the inheritance of the congregation of Jacob (Deut. 33:4)!
