The silver Torah Finial consists of a shaft,a body, a head and an apex.

The middle strip of the round raised base is decorated with flowers and the top strip bears a dedicatory inscription in square filled letters, which continues from the first finial to the second. The inscription on the first one reads: "כלי יקר האלה נדבו לביהמ"ד )לבית המדרש( ח?ש מבוטשאטש" "these precious objects were donated to this house of learning (beit midrash) ??? of Buchach"

The inscription on the second finial reads: "...ש תרי"ח" "...The year 1858"

 The undulating shaft is encircled at top and bottom by thick rings decorated with flowers and leaves. The body is shaped like a stepped dome and is decorated with a strip of flowers and leaves. The edge of the body has three rings for bells. The head is shaped and decorated in the same fashion as the body. The apex is undulating with a thick center.

There are two hallmarks on the object.##1.The initial A surmounting the cypher 13 flanked on one side by the cyphers 88. This is an Austro-Hungarian authority mark for the city of Vienna, year unknown (18?8). c.f. Divis, p.222.
2. The initials "AW" within a rectangular frame. Unidentified artist.
