The silver finial consists of a shaft, a body, a head and an apex. The cylindrical shaft is encircled at the bottom by a round raised base circumfered by a ring of flowers and leaves. The bottom of the shaft bears a dedicatory inscription in square filled letters which reads: "ישראל ב"ר )בן רבי( אפרים שנת תרמ'א לפ'ק " " Israel son of Rabbi Ephraim the year 5461 (1881)" The cylindrical shaft widens into an upside down conical shaped body, topped by a dome. The body is decorated with acanthus leaves and the dome bears the same decorative motif as the base. The body is surmounted by a head composed of a coronet and a canopy connected to each other by three arms in the shape of like lions salient guardant. The head is surmounted by a globular shaped apex.
