The tas is made of silver and consists of a plate and chain. The plate is rectangular and decorated with too grooved columns rising over a base and supporting a round trefoil arch. The middle part of the plate is in the shape of the five and five Tables of the Covenant inscribed with the first words of the Decalogue. On the top of each Table is a filigran rosette with green stone inlay. The base is decorated with two filigran flowers. At the flower's center is a green stone. The calender tablet is rectangular and is set in a frame. The frame is decorated with filigran floral pattern. Eight plaques are in a back cell and bear the inscriptions, and read: שבת "Sabbath" ראש השנה "Rosh Hashana (New Year)" יום הכיפורים "Yom Hakipurim ( Day of Atonement)" סוכות Sukot( Feast of the Tabernacles) שמיני עצרת "Shemini Azeret" שמחת תורה "Simhat Torah" פםח "Pesah (Passover)" שבועות "Shavu'ot" The bottom of the base is decorated with round motives which bears hangers for medaillions. The treefoiled arch is decorated with a crown where there is written: כת On the right of the crown stands a lion on the left a gazelle. The background is decorated with floral pattern and pomegranate. The border of the arch is decorated with flowers. The plate is hung by a chain which is inserted through rings attached to the back of the plate.
