The silver spice container, in the shape of a fish, consists of a head that opens and a body. The head of the fish has two eyes and a mouth. One of the eyes has a red stone or glass inset into it, the other eye does not. The fish's body consists of one part with an engraved scaled design. The end of the body tapers towards the tail, and is made of several pieces nailed together and nested in such a way that the scales are flexible. :MED : Metal:MH : 25:ML : 120 (overall):MC : 20 (overall):MAT : Silver##Structure:##Decoration: glass(?), engraved, punched##Bonding: nailed:CO : The eye missing the stone is filled with wood.:BIB : Steiglitz, 1987, Nos. 90-95
