The silver Torah Pointer consists of a bar, a pointer and an apex. The thin tapering bar is divided into upper and lower arms by a globular joint divided into four registers with the upper and lower ones decorated with a foliate motif. Another globular joint tops the bar. It is divided into three bands decorated with foliate motifs on the the upper and lower bands and bears a dedication inscription on the central band. It is written in one line in square linear letters, and reads: "זה נדבה יהודא ב"ר )בן רבי( אברהם" "This is the donation of Judah son of Rabbi Abraham." The apex is in the shape of a lion statant revealing tongue and tail elevated on his back. The lower arm is covered with a conical cuff with spread edges. The bar terminates with a clenched hand with a sraight index finger pointer. IJA No. 9440
