The silver kiddush cup is cylindrical, with an overturned rim.
It is decorated with a wide band bearing a crest with a dedicatory inscription in square filled letters which reads:
"לזכר/ נשמת ר' דוד ב"ר )בן רבי( /יהודה -מרדכי / לייב/ בענדערסקע/ שנפטר יז אייר/ שנת תרפב"
"In memory of the soul of Rabbi David son of Rabbi Judah -Mordecai Leib Bendersky who died on the seventeenth day of the month of Iyar the year (5)682= (1922)".
The crest is flanked on either side by branches and flowers.

There are six hallmarks on the bottom of the cup. 1. The hallmark depicts St. George on horseback, facing left, killing the dragon, in a rectangular frame. This is the city mark for Moscow 1891-1896.

2. The cyrillic initials L.O. (in lat.) over the cypher 1895 in a rectangular frame with cut edges. This is an assayer mark
of Lev Fedorovich Olex who was active in 1890-1896. cf Postnikova-Losseva, p.205, no.2121. 3. The hallmark depicts the cypher 84 in a rectangular frame with cut
edges. This is a Russian quality mark used in the 18th and 19th c. cf Postnikova-Losseva, p.148, similar to no.12-15. 4.The name P. Milukov in cyrillic letters, in a rectangular frame
surmounted by a medallion depicting a male head facing right. This is the hallmark of Milukov Petr Pavlovich, the owner of the silversmiths factory active between 1877-1912. cf Postnikova- Losseva, p.225, no.2820
5.The cyrillic initials P.M (in lat.) in a rectangular frame. This is the hallmark of P. Milukov. cf Postnikova- losseva, p.225, no.2819. 6.The hallmark depicts a male head facing right in a round frame. This
is an unidentified hallmark probably belonging to the factory of P. Milukov.
