The tower shaped spice container consists of a receptacle, an apex and a shaft. The two tiered receptacle has a square undualting bottom part surmounted by a smaller hollow square with a bell in the center. T

he bottom part of the receptacle has a smooth concave center with a rectangular door in the center of one side. The wider rims bear a foliate design. Bells hang from the lower corners and they are connected to each other by chains. The top corners bear crouching lions facing out.

The upper tier has eagles with spread wings at the top of each corner. A conical spire emerges from the center of the top tier and it is surmounted by a globe upon which the apex is situated. The apex is shaped like a wavy flag. The receptacle is supported by a undulating shaft with a thick ring in the center bearing a foliate design. The square base has a round raised base in its center that rises towards the shaft.
