The round alms plate is composed of a plate divides into three sections and a handle. The larger half of the plate has a cover that bears a dedicatory inscription that reads: "ז"נ )זאת נדבת( כ"ה )כבוד הרב( ישעי' בן/ ר' מרדכי בן המנוח הרבני/המופלא ומופלג בתורה וביראה/ מו"ה )מורנו הרב( גרשון ווינר ז"ל )זכרונו לברכה( שנת תר"ך לפ"ק )לפרט קטן(" "This is the donation of the learned in Torah the honourable Rabbi Isaiah son of Rabbi Mordechai son of the deceased the learned in Torah the wonderous the distinguished in Torah and reverence our teacher the Rabbi Gershon Weiner of blessed memory the year (5)620 =[1860]". A wall seperates betweenthe first half and the other two quarters of the plate. At the end of the wall there is an urn shaped candle socket. The tapering handle is situated at the opposite end.
