Fol. 64v: Attacking a fortress. A fortress surrounded by a rope hung with bells so that anyone approaching from outside or inside at night can be heard. In front of the entrance are a pipe filled with gunpowder ready to be ignited, and a rope attached to a tree enabling attackers to enter the fortress from the mountain. On the roof of one of the fortress towers, a man is ready to drop a barrel of sulphur, tar and fire on the attackers who are advancing from the right. Inscribed in Hebrew and Yiddish:

Left of the fortress:

עשה סביב המבצר או/ סביב המקום חבל ומקושר/ בהחבל שעלין וקלוקין/ אז תשמע אם ילכו/ אדם מן המקום או מן/ המבצר בלילה.

Next to the man on the tower roof: גופרית ואש/ מלוא זפת.

To the right of the fortress, above the rope:

חבל מקושר באילן למעלה ואנשים יורדים/ מלמעלה מן ההר בהמבצר ולמעלה/ מקושר בהחבל שעל.

Below, next to the pipe on the right:

תעשה/ אותו חלול/ ושים בו/ בויישן/ פולבר/ וסתום/ החור/ והדלק.

On the left, attached to the lower bell:

זה החבל תקשור סביב/ המבצר או סביב המקום/ עם הקלק שעליו ומתי/ שילכו חוץ אז תשמע.
