The wooden Torah^case consists of a body and a coronet.##The body has twelve facets. The body is covered by silver sheets. Two pairs of faceted annulets encircle the upper and lower borders of the body. The body is decorated by silver plates bearing two scrolls in the bottom and a vase at its centre. They are attached in vertical rows. Floral shaped plaques are attached to the centre of each half of the body of the case opening. A rectangular silver plaque is attached at both sides of the case's opening. It is decorated with an arch. Under the later is a dedicatory inscription. Two pairs of hinges are in the back of the case. The inner face is plain wood. The hollow bottom has a oval hand holders. Two insert holes for the rods are at top of the case. Four wooden rimon mounts are fixed on top of the case. The coronet is faceted. Each of the twelve facets is decorated with openwork of lilies. The dedicatory inscription is engraved in linear letters, in eight lines, and reads beginning on the right side of the plaque, and reads: וזאת התורה ## זכה וברה ## מפנינים יקרה ## אשר פעל ## ועשה היקר ## הר! ## כמוס מימון % ## הי!ו It continious on the left side of the plaque, and reads: למנוחת בנו ## הבחור העלוב ## הר גד מימון ## ת'נ'צ'ב'ה' ## נגמרה מלאכתו # בח' סיון המכתר ## בכתר תורה ש' ת'ר'פ'ו' !This Torah ## pure and clean ## more precious than pearls ## who acted and did the dear ## Rabbi (int.) ## Kamus Meimon ## may the Lord sustain him and grant him favour (int.)! !For the repose of his son ## the youth and the humble ## Rabbi (int.) Gad Meimon ## may his soul be bound up in the bond of life (int.)## his work has been finished ## on the 8th of Sivan crown with a Torah crown ## the year (int.) (5)686=(1926)!
