The silver Torah pointer consists of a bar, and a pointer.##

The bar is composed of two parts. The upper part is flat and narrow, slightly widening down. It"s front side is decorated by a geometrical pattern composed of alternateottom. rhombuses and circles It is decorated on the top side by a Star of David within a circle, and bears an inscription: "ציון" "Zion" ## The circle is surrounded by a foliate pattern, enclosed in a dotted border. A band with an inscription runs along the centre of the bottom part and is surrounded by a foliate pattern, framed by by a dotted border. The forearm terminates with a straight cuff and a clenched hand.##A mobile loop is inserted through a ring at the end of the upper arm.## The dedicatory inscription on the bottom of the forearm is chaised in outline letters, reads towards the pointer, and says: "למנוחת עמנואל זוארץ ת'נ'צ'ב'ה' ב חשון תשי" "For the repose of Emanuel Zu'arez, May his soul be bound up in the bond of life, 2nd of Heshvan, (5)710 (25.10.1949)"
