Description

A small plaque bearing the symbol of Ann Arbor and a short English text is attached to the house where Raoul Wallenberg lived as a student at the University of Michigan in 1931–1932. The plaque is affixed on the right of the entrance door and is barely readable from the street.

The house was built in 1901, for Vernon J. Willey. instructor in electrotherapeutics, who became Director of the Roentgen Laboratory in 1906.

Raoul Wallenberg lived in this house in 1931-1932.
